My colleagues are surprised when I don’t have anything to discuss during meetings. I’m a continuous flow of ideas, always looking to improve the working situation for me, my colleagues, and the patients at our clinic.
The human body, movement, and rock climbing are my passions. I study these subjects, be it through reading scientific studies, books, or following courses. Each new perspective motivates me to return to work and solve my patients’ problems. My patients tell me I’m someone who puts in the effort to improve their situation.
Expertise
I specialize in rock climbing injury rehab and prevention and help you understand your body, injury, and training to recover efficiently and to prevent re-injuries. I work with climbers all along the performance spectrum. From the very elite to recreational climbers. Since the end of 2022, I have been the Physiotherapist of Michelle Hulliger who climbs for the Swiss National Team.
I approach rehab as an elite sport itself. For success, you and I must work together closely for the best results. I aim to motivate, educate, and stimulate you to learn about your injury and the most efficient way to get fit and stay fit.
Education
I acquired my Bachelor of Physical Therapy from Hanze University in Groningen, the Netherlands. Since working as a Physical Therapist I have continued to improve my skill set and have since become a certified Dry Needling Therapist DVS. I’m currently studying to become a Sports Physiotherapist ESP.
